Tiny Lions New Volunteer Orientation

Are you a cat lover 18 or older who can’t get enough cat in your life? Do you wish you could spend more time with cats but can’t adopt now? Or do you just want to help out the homeless cats in our community? Becoming a Tiny Lions lounge & adoption Center Volunteer could be for you.

​Volunteering primarily involves helping with cat care -- helping with dishes, sweeping/mopping, feeding, and other tasks that help care for our cats, along with providing excellent customer service and helping keep everything purring. When you help out, you'll enjoy the bright, clean space, the company cats, and the satisfaction of helping needy animals in our community. 

There is a one-time, non-refundable program fee of $45 per person to volunteer.  This fee, collected at the time of registration, includes your volunteer T-shirt and nametag, many training and educational opportunities, and access to our online resource library. The fee helps offset the costs of supplies and allows us to direct more money toward the care of our animals. If the fee is a financial strain, please do not worry; we still want you to join our team! Simply call (734) 661-3517 or email volunteers@hshv.org to discuss waiving the fee.
