Description
Our Animal Care Residency is designed for youth entering 7th - 10th grade who want to delve deeper into the inner workings of HSHV and animal welfare education. Residents will learn more about understanding perspectives of animals and the science behind their behavior, the various departments at HSHV and the role humans as a species play in animal welfare.
Residency will also include visits from guest speakers, hands on activities, daily work with adoptable animals, humane education lessons and more!
Participants will be responsible for bringing their own lunches and water bottles each day of camp. HSHV will provide a small snack in the afternoon.
Residency hours are from 9-4pm. We're sorry - aftercare is not available for this program.
